- Hyland earned DoD 5015.2 certification in 2009. DoD 5015.2 is a certification issued by US Department of Defense on the standard design criteria of records management software. Gartner believes that this will position OnBase better for buyers in government agencies.
- Gartner also praised Hyland’s “embrace and extend” strategy for SharePoint, This strategy will prevent conversions and at the same time, build value to both solutions.
- Some of Hyland’s notable strength include: strong leadership, clear strategy, happy customers and vertical-market focus will serve to Hyland’s OnBase advantage as it continues to grow its customer base.
Another proof that OnBase ECM is a force to be reckon comes from CMS Watch, an independent research group on Content Technologies. CMS Watch compares the performance of various ECM vendors in 2009 and plot them in its ECM Cross-Check based on the following criteria:
